An ultra-modern, all-metal, extra-large-arbor reel made of aviation-grade aluminium alloy in combination with elements made of stainless steel. The exclusive H-design commemorates the 25th anniversary of the founding of our company, HANÁK Competition, while the hexagon pattern of turned holes refers to the structure of the Graphene, the latest top material used for building of our new Superb RS rods. The large diameter of the spool reduces tangling of the leader and line, reducing wear and speeding up winding. The precisely manufactured closed cage prevents the long thin nymphing rigs to be pulled out. Smooth running is ensured by a one-way roller super bearing. The unrivaled sensitivity and precise adjustment of the carbon drag allows safe use of fine tippets. The reel was designed, continuously tested and fine-tuned by Luboš Roza, one of the world's best competition fly fishermen, in close cooperation with František Hanák, an expert in fishing for trophy fish.

Superb XP

The Superb XP is an updated and improved version of our famous Superb reels. Machined from 6061 aircraft-grade bar stock aluminium, this reel is elegant and tough and the stainless steel fittings ensure total corrosion-resistance. The modern, ultra-large arbor reel design prevents fly line memory coils and provides a high-speed retrieve. The unique closed cage prevents tangling and dragging fine long nymphing leaders out of the reel. Smooth function is guaranteed by two ball-bearings in combination with a super-roller bearing. The sensitive and reliable drag allows usage of fine leaders.
